Feeding the Problem – The interviews

A couple of weeks ago, me and a couple of colleagues from the MFA had the opportunity to crew on Danny Schmidt’s documentary Feeding the Problem. This was a straight forward winter shoot on the contentious issue of Wyoming’s feeding grounds for the elk.

I was the DP, or main camera person, but working together as a team we managed to pull of some really interesting interview settings. They were all shot with the Canon 7D and a EF 24-104mm L lens. When in need a 200 Watt HMI was the key light and as fillers we either used ambient light or tungsten light sources like lamps or the Micro Pro Litepanels.

Here are some screen captures of the interviews. Enjoy.
